Discover the Occitanie region: a territory of character

The morning rises over the Mediterranean, the Pyrenees trace their silhouette in the distance, and each alley of a medieval village tells a story. Welcome to the Occitanie region! Your adventure begins at the Les Berges du Canal campsite in Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, where every moment is an invitation to write your own story.

Visit the Occitanie region between land and sea

Occitanie is a region with a thousand faces, where each landscape seems to have been drawn by nature with infinite delicacy. Between the Languedoc-Roussillon coastline, the rugged massifs of the Causses and the green valleys of the Midi-Pyrénées, you will always find a corner of paradise to explore.

By the sea: a breath of freedom

If you're dreaming of a holiday by the water, the beaches near Béziers are a safe bet. The beaches of Vias, Valras or Sérignan, under the Languedoc sun, offer stretches of fine sand bordered by the Mediterranean, perfect for moments of relaxation.
Further south, Cap d'Agde and Sète reveal wild landscapes, with their black sand beaches and secret coves, ideal for a romantic getaway or for snorkelling.

The wilderness: where nature reclaims its rights

Our region reveals its untamed soul through breathtaking landscapes.
  • The Gorges du Tarn, with their imposing cliffs and fresh waters, offer a unique spectacle for hikers and adventurers.
  • Further south, the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park boasts deep forests, shimmering lakes and forgotten trails... a true paradise for nature lovers.
  • To the west, the Pyrenees stand as guardians of the horizon, majestic and timeless. In winter, their snowy mantle attracts skiers and dreamers, while in summer, their high-altitude lakes and steep trails offer breathtaking panoramas... an invitation to grandeur and silence.

An exceptional heritage in the heart of the Occitanie region

The Occitanie region, a land of character, combines history and traditions. Castles, medieval cities and picturesque villages bear witness to a rich past that is still alive today.

Carcassonne and Aigues-Mortes: vestiges of a glorious past

The majestic city of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, transports visitors to the heart of the Middle Ages.
Further on, Aigues-Mortes, guardian of the Camargue, with its ramparts and its panorama of the salt flats, also brings the era of the crusaders to life.

Béziers: a historical heritage in the heart of the Occitanie region

A few steps from the Les Berges du Canal campsite, Béziers seduces with its medieval heritage. Its Saint-Nazaire cathedral, perched above the Orb, and the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, invite you to discover architectural treasures such as the nine locks of Fonseranes.
